Tranches de Vie

"Tranches de Vie" is a 3 minutes long 3d film that is being created by about ten students of my class.
I am the lead artist and I work on this project since the beginning.
The story has been invented by two students and I in February 2015, then our colleagues helped us by modelling the characters and animating them.
This film is due to the 15th of December 2015.

As the lead artist, I contributed to define the visual identity of the film. I created the concept arts, the storyboard and the pictures for the animatic. most of the buildings were modelled by me and I produced all the textures. I am curently working on the 2D pictures that need to be implemented in the film.

I am also helping the animation team by animating some characters.

I do not wish to tell exactly what the film is about just yet. Just know that it takes place in Paris and that it involves the characters from the concept art. I will post the animatic and the finished film at the end of the year.

One of the students sculpted this character for us on ZBrush. 
I worked on this mesh to make it suitable for animation by building the right edgeloops.
 ... and voilà !

The fly

This is a character that I have created for a short story that is still in development.
I have done the first concept art two years ago.

I have modeled it in 3ds Max and built the rig with CAT.

Animation Portfolio

I gathered some pieces of my best work into this small video. The music does not belong to me, it is from the videogame Mirror's Edge (main menu theme).
There is the Flicker game. This is free and it was created by students for an assesment. You may have to install a small unity plugin to be able to play it.

Flicker: The Game - Animations

These animations were produced for the game Flicker, a project created by the group Ctrl+Z for the Game Development module. I have animated most of the main character's movements and some of the enemy.

Hide and Seek - Work in Progress

The Motion Capture data has been implemented and I am animating the wolf. I still need to finish the facial animations, fix some slight skinning problems, implement the cloth simulation, improve a few camera placements and add some lights.
