Flicker: The Game - Animations
These animations were produced for the game Flicker, a project created by the group Ctrl+Z for the Game Development module. I have animated most of the main character's movements and some of the enemy.

Motion Capture
I did my Motion Capture Shoot for the project on Wednesday 23rd of January and it went well. Since then I have cleaned my data and imported everything into 3ds Max but I still need to fix the animations. Here is a short video of two of the main actions that will appear in my final piece: when the woman stumble on a root and when she fights against the wolf and escape. This my the actress performing these actions in the mocap suit and the result in Motion Builder.

Final Year Project: Hide and Seek
I will post here the work I am doing for my final year project at Teesside University.
My project is called Hide and Seek. It will be a one minute 3D animation film rendered in 3ds Max and involving two characters: a woman and a wolf.
The story is quite simple: a woman is chased in a forest by a wolf. She climbs on a tree to save herself but one of the branches collapses on the wolf and kills it.
Here is the storyboard:
Here is the wolf mesh I use. I downloaded it from here http://thefree3dmodels.com/stuff/animal/wolf/24-1-0-1275 and I changed it slightly: I modeled the mouth and the fangs.
I made the woman's mesh myself. I am still working on her clothes.
I will use Motion Capture for most of the woman's animations such as the running, the stumbling, etc, but I will hand-animate the climbing. I will also add some simple facial animations like gasps, fear...(by simple I mean no lip sych because there will be no dialogues).
Cloth simulation will be implemented, I am still working on it for my Advanced Animation for Games module.
I will create a simple landscape with dead trees, shades of grey and fog ("Limbo style").
